07-23-2007: Red Bull Pontiac Solstice GXP, Millen Take Pikes Peak Time Attack Title
The Red Bull Pontiac Solstice GXP and Rhys Millen claimed the first ever Time Attack title at the 85th Annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb today. It was Millen’s seventh overall title in 15 trips to the Hill Climb, and his third record—in three different divisions.

07-21-2007: Collins, Edwards Blast to First Grand-Am Rolex Series GT Victory of 2007 Season at Barber Motorsports Park
No. 07 Banner Racing/Banner Engineering Pontiac GXP.R drivers Paul Edwards and Kelly Collins dominated the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve GT competition Saturday afternoon at Barber Motorsports Park, racing to the checkered flag 30.591 seconds ahead of the field in the two-and-a-half hour Porsche 250 presented by Bradley Arant.

10-18-2006: GM Vehicles Extend Championship Win Streak to 51 Years at SCCA Runoffs
When Don Knowles drove his Pontiac Solstice to its first-ever Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) National Championship Runoffs win this past Friday at Heartland Park Topeka in Kansas, he kicked off a three title weekend for GM vehicles and also extended GM's consecutive championship win streak to 51 years.

08-08-2006: Pontiac Solstice Wins First SCCA Divisional Championship with Showroom Stock B Sweep at Pocono
It was a banner weekend for the Pontiac Solstice at Pocono International Raceway as Andrew Aquilante won both races of the Tri-Region August Double National, clinching the first-ever Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Northeast Division championships for the Solstice and himself in the Showroom Stock B (SSB) class. A second Solstice driven by Don Knowles set a new track record for an SSB lap with a time of 1:54:555 on Saturday, and finished second in each race.

06-12-2006: Pontiac Solstice Wins First-Ever SCCA Race at Lime Rock
Recording the fastest lap for the third straight national race with a time of 1:03:930, Pontiac Solstice won its first Showroom Stock B (SSB) race of the young Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) season with a victory at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Conn. on June 10.

06-01-2006: Pontiac Solstice Sets New Track Record and Finishes Fourth at Nelson Ledges
Following up its third place debut at New Hampshire International Speedway on May 6, Pontiac Solstice set a new track record for the fastest lap in Showroom Stock B (SSB) with a time of 1:18.811 and took fourth in its second race of the season on May 28 at Nelson Ledges Road Course in Garrettsville, Ohio.

05-08-2006: Pontiac Solstice Finishes Third in SCCA National Road Racing Debut
Pontiac Solstice made a podium debut this past weekend in its first ever Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) race, finishing third in the Showroom Stock B (SSB) class during the New England Region May National at New Hampshire International Speedway on May 6.

04-27-2006: Pontiac Unveils Red Bull Solstice GXP for Drifting Competition
Building on the success of the GTO drifting program, Pontiac today unveiled their next generation drift vehicle based on the upcoming turbocharged Solstice GXP. The new Red Bull Solstice GXP Drift, which will once again be piloted by 2005 Formula Drift champion Rhys Millen, will make its official Formula D drifting debut on June 10 at Solider Field in Chicago.

04-23-2006: TRG Pontiacs Go 1, 2 in GT Class at Virginia
For the first time in 2006, No. 65 TRG Pontiac GTO.R co-drivers Andy Lally and Marc Bunting climbed the top step of the GT class podium, and with Sunday's win in the VIR 400, the 2005 class runners-up also move into the championship lead.
